DOS DÉUS
GRAN RESERVA 1999
The Dos Deus Gran Reserva 1999 is the most emblematic vermouth from our winery, the result of years of experience and a meticulous selection of casks and woods throughout its production and ageing. It is an intense and expressive vermouth, born of time, patience, and artisanal craftsmanship, designed to be savoured on special occasions.
Product details
Crafted in the Priorat winery from a blend of Macabeo, Xarel·lo, and Parellada, with maceration of natural botanicals.
Intense and highly expressive vermouth, with an exclusive formula of herbs and spices including clove, cinnamon, and wormwood.
Complex ageing in various woods: French oak, Jerez casks (Oloroso and Manzanilla), and a final refinement in PX and Palo Cortado, which contribute soft, caramelised notes.
Limited and numbered production, with approximately 1,500–2,000 bottles crafted exclusively from the finest casks.
Tasting notes
Appearance: intense mahogany red, brilliant and with great depth. Dense, lightly coloured legs in the glass, a reflection of its prolonged oak ageing.
Nose: highly expressive and complex, with floral aromas interwoven with toasted oak notes. Prominent hints of cinnamon, toffee, caramel, and herbs, reflecting its long ageing process.
Palate: broad and rich in nuance, with a smooth entry and a well-balanced presence of wood. Spiced notes of vanilla and caramel emerge, with good structure and a long, persistent finish. Best enjoyed on its own at 8–10 °C, in a wide glass or over ice.
